Reyhaneh holds an M.S. in environmental engineering, specializing in “environmental pollution,” and a B.S. in marine biology, with a focus on “Aquatic reproduction and breeding.” Her academic journey has paved the way for a dedicated pursuit of knowledge in the intersection of environmental sciences. With a passion for safeguarding human health and the environment, Ms. Shams is embarking on a research endeavor at the University of Houston. Her work centers on the innovative use of ML-AI techniques in weather and air quality modeling, along with an exploration of the health and economic impacts of air pollution on communities. Beyond her academic pursuits, she finds solace and inspiration in drawing Persian paintings and nurturing her cherished collection of plants.
