Masoud Ghahremanloo has joined the UH-AQF artificial intelligence (AI) team as a postdoctoral scholar, where he integrates satellite remote sensing with AI techniques to investigate Earth’s atmospheric phenomena. Mr. Ghahremanloo holds an M.Sc. in Geomatics Engineering - Remote Sensing from K. N. Toosi University of Technology (KNTU) in Tehran, Iran, and a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Houston. He brings a wealth of expertise in working with diverse satellite instruments, such as TROPOMI, OMI, MODIS, and the Landsat series, as well as proficiency in advanced AI models and programming languages such as Python and MATLAB. In addition, his experience encompasses the utilization of surface observations and related techniques. Leveraging his profound knowledge and skill set, Mr. Ghahremanloo has authored and co-authored numerous research papers that have been published in esteemed journals within the fields of remote sensing, atmospheric sciences, and artificial intelligence.
