DISCUSSION

Today's ozone is likely to be low given the cloudy skies and E/SE winds. There is 40% of chances of rain. The
ozone at Galveston is about 40 ppb, higher than usual due to the wind reversal which brought back the ozone
blown to the sea in the past two days.

Yesterday we have a high ozone day with high reached 128 ppb at Clear Lake High School. The sky turned out to
be less cloudy as seen in the morning and ozone production is about 60-70 ppb in south
Harris/Brazoria/Galveston. The second-dose ozone (coming back from sea) added about 50-60 ppb to the
production. Seabreeze started around 12 CST at Galveston and countered the N/NE flow in more inland area. It
created a convergence zone at Clear Lake, resulting a high in the day.
